I recently did a fashion shoot with Siobhán McHugh of styleuphoria.com, stylist Agi Conradi (stylingwithagi.com) model Amy Hutchinson and my own Sister Deirdre Swan (Dokphotography.com). We had a lot of fun with some really excellent clothes and thankfully Amy has the patience of a saint. A few pics below, and naturally the final choices are in the Fashion shoot gallery.

Recently I watched a fascinating video about a photographer who devotes himself to shooting high-speed images of water splashes. Its up on youtube - amazing stuff

Its a simple technique to replicate, but to create the stunning images seen in the video it requires hundreds if not thousands of tries, as the timing required is in the tenths of a thousandth of a second. Using my trusty 580 ex, I set about trying to recreate some of these shots, with limited success. Then, getting a bit bored with little tiny water droplets, I tried hurling oranges from 10 ft above, which is more satisfying, but at the same time requires a lot more towels.
